Dream match next week to determine Mahal's SummerSlam challenger: SmackDown LIVE, July 25, 2017
In what will be a historic
“dream match,” John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura will go one-on-one on this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live.” The winner of that match will earn the right to challenge Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at this year’s “SummerSlam.”
However, this is not the only reason why this match will be the first of its kind.
According to a new report from F4WOnline, betting odds have been put up for this TV match for the first time in history. As of now, Cena is the -160 favorite and Nakamura is +120, which means that there’s no smart money bet involved.
It had been previously reported that Cena was scheduled to face Mahal for the title at the “biggest party of the summer.”
Editor’s Note:
I’m not sure why odds have been put in place, or even how these decisions are made. That being said, things seem pretty even right now, which means that this contest could go either way. I cannot wait for this matchup, as two of my favorite performers in the company are going to absolutely tear the house down!
