WWE Star and UFC Champion Teasing “Summerslam 2017” Match

Us vs. them. With rumors of Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC swirling, another WWE vs. UFC story has been flying underneath the radar. While there’s no guarantee of anything just yet, it seems that there’s a solid chance of a UFC Champion setting foot in the ring with a WWE performer, possibly even at “Summerslam 2017”.

UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg Justino and Becky Lynch have been feuding on Twitter for weeks now and it took another turn last night. Before her title winning fight, Justino sent Lynch the following Tweet:

Let's make a deal. If I win tonight in cali, and you win tonight in Detroit…you agree to to sign the #summerslam contract. Don't b scared! https://t.co/CMlzPrdw0e

Following her win at the “Smackdown Live” house show, Lynch tweeted this video:

Justino won her fight and sent out one more Tweet:

There is no word on if the match will actually be taking place.

Opinion: I’m not convinced that this match is actually going to take place but it would be interesting to see. I can’t imagine either side would be willing to have their representative lose but Lynch would probably be allowed to hang in there longer than most of Justino’s opponents manage to do.
