Well, it looks like the most famous announcer in professional wrestling history will have his autobiography out soon, and how exciting that is.

Skyhorse Publishing, a famous independent publisher, has announced that they will be publishing Jim Ross’ autobiography, titled Slobberknocker, under the imprint Sports Publishing. The book, announced via press release today, is slated for a Fall 2017 release.

Ross, well known for his years with the WWE in the announcer’s booth, and subsequently removed after a second bout with Bell’s Palsy, is one of the most famous commentators in professional wrestling history. This book, billed a tell-all, will cover his life and career, with the culmination of the book being Wrestlemania 15.

An autobiography from Ross is sure to be a best-seller. Good ol’ J.R. has already written or co-written two best-sellers on the New York Times best-seller list, and his unique perspective on the industry will sure to make this one a page-turner as well.

Are you guys excited about this book? Will you be buying it when it releases? Let us know in the comments.
