The legendary Undertaker has been in bad physical shape for quite a while, as has been well documented. Last year, he was seen on crutches after undergoing minor hip surgery. He’s been dealing with knee, hip, and leg injuries since the 90s but has always pushed off talks of retirement.

Year after year, we have heard talk of whatever match being “Undertaker’s last,” only for him to rise from the grave and come back for more. However, it seems to be getting worse and we may be nearing the end of his reign.

While his hip issues are currently under control, it is being reported that Undertaker will ultimately need a full hip replacement at some point. While he is trying to put that off until when he retires, the fact that this is his prognosis should mean–for the sake of his own health–that he will be doing so sooner rather than later.

With him being involved in both Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, he’s got quite a bit of wrestling to do for now. But given the gravity of his health situation, one can’t help but think how much gas he has left in the tank before it’s time to hang up the boots.
