Kenny Omega is notorious for wanting to be the best wrestler to never perform in the WWE. Already having one of the best years of his career last year, the Canadian has stuck true to where he gained fame by staying true to New Japan Pro Wrestling, winning the G1 Climax tournament last year and sharing match of the year honors with Okada.

But it looks like WWE has something more up their sleeve than just having Omega stay in Japan throughout his career. They may have hinted to something even more than what we thought earlier, as at one point today, Omega’s name was on the front page of their Youtube Channel.

The video was an interview asking various WWE superstars who they would like to see as a surprise addition to the Royal Rumble. Seth Rollins mentioned that he would like to see Kenny Omega, which led to the NJPW superstar’s name to be added to the title of the video.

One Twitter user captured the relevant clip.

The video was eventually pulled down, and replaced with a version that excised Seth’s comment.

What’s up with the change? Let the speculation run wild. Sounds to me like someone on WWE’s social media team might be in some hot water.
