The fan who tossed a Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE superstar Roman Reigns over the weekend has been punished for his actions.
The former Shield member needed a few minutes to compose himself before beginning his Street Fight with Bray Wyatt, which he eventually won.
Victoria police spokesperson Sgt. Bryan Edwards says other fans in attendance egged the fan on, pushing for him to hurl the briefcase, per CTVNews.ca.
The 31-year-old fan was eventually removed from the building following the incident, although no charges were laid against him after he apologized for his actions.
He won’t get away scot free, though, as he has been banned from all future WWE events.
Editor’s Note
Peer pressure, much? If fans around him suggested jumping in the squared circle and attacking Reigns with his hands, would he have done it? This situation could have been a lot worse had Reigns suffered a concussion or some sort of fluke injury. This unknown man should feel lucky for not being tossed in the slammer.
