If his recent appearance at a Live Event is any indication, the return of Dolph Ziggler to WWE programming may be just around the corner.

Ziggler showed up in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on Sunday to apparently film a scene for his upcoming WWE Studios production called “6:42.” This involved the former Intercontinental Champion going to a seat in the stands, then walking back as fans entered the building.

That’s not how Ziggler ended his evening, though, as he appeared during the show as part of a segment with Summer Rae, Lana, and Rusev.

Summer Rae and Rusev were in the ring cutting a promo, when Lana emerged from the back to brawl with her fellow blonde bombshell. Ziggler then ran down to the ring to attack the Bulgarian Brute, laying him out with a Zig Zag.

Lana and Ziggler reportedly got massive reactions before leaving hand-in-hand.

There’s no word yet on whether Ziggler will be appearing on “Monday Night Raw” tonight. With “SummerSlam” going down on Aug. 23, it’s hard not to rule out a possible return, as WWE plans to have him take on Rusev at the pay-per-view, possibly in a Mixed Tag Team match along with Summer Rae and Rusev.

PWInsider.com originally reported that his film is expected to wrap up shooting on Aug. 14, which would mean Ziggler is more likely to appear during the Aug. 17 edition of “Raw.”

He had been written off of television following an attack by Rusev on July 6.

Editor’s Note

Safe money is on Ziggler showing up tonight, despite the reports saying otherwise. WWE could use a full two weeks with him on television to add more sizzle to his program with Rusev.
