A recent report from F4WOnline noted that WWE is considering to go forward with a new tag team, featuring two of its top stars. The rumored duo would consist of Dolph Ziggler and Ryback, who teamed up on the Feb. 5 showing of “Smackdown.” According to the report, Ziggler and Ryback teaming up that night was no one time occurrence. WWE officials are thinking about making the two a permanent tag team, having them work WrestleMania 31 as a team.
This news, in addition to the Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns match at “Fastlane,” may very well signal a substantial change in WrestleMania 31 plans. There is now speculation within WWE that the company has already nixed plans for a Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler match at WrestleMania 31.
However, it is unclear as to why WWE has nixed the match. It is not confirmed that the plans for Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler were changed because Bryan will be added to the WrestleMania 31 main event against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. In fact, most people within WWE still believe WWE will go forward with Roman Reigns as Lesnar’s sole opponent.
Editor’s Note
I could definitely get behind a Dolph Ziggler and Ryback tag team. The two appear to be good friends outside the ring, and are both over as babyfaces. Though, it may very well change Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania plans for the worse.
