Update on Kalisto Possibly Changing Gimmicks

A source from within WWE has provided an update on Kalisto possibly changing gimmicks. Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who has revealed legitimate insider WWE information previously, recently reported that WWE had tried working Kalisto as a homosexual hair stylist, and that this may be his gimmick moving forwards as he jumps from NXT to the WWE’s main roster.

However, this does not seem to be the case. A spokesman for the company stated on Feb. 4 that the report was absolutely false, and that Kalisto will remain the masked luchador as is presented in NXT once he makes the move to “RAW” and “Smackdown.”

Following MetsFan4Ever’s post on Feb. 3, “Kalisto” began trending on Twitter. The comments about the possible gimmick change sent fans into a ruckus on Social Media, where they trashed the idea and complained about what could happen to the young high-flyer’s career if the company went that route with him.
