On Tuesday, April 29, WWE taped the May 2 edition of “WWE Smackdown” in Kansas City at the Sprint Center.

Below are the spoilers for the May 2 edition of “WWE Smackdown:”

The show begins with a contract signing between El Torito and Hornswoggle for the first ever WeeLC match.

1) Rob Van Dam def. Jack Swagger- Cesaro and Paul Heyman are both on commentary for the bout. During the match, Swagger delivers a crushing sucker punch to Cesaro. Van Dam picks up the win with his “Five Star Frog Splash.” However, after the match, Cesaro attacks “RVD.”

2) Alexander Rusev def. R-Truth via disqualification- Rusev got the victory thanks to interference by Xavier Woods.

Next, Daniel Bryan enters to a huge pop. Bryan, still in a neck brace, talks his match with Kane at “Extreme Rules.” Pyro then goes off and Kane appears on the titantron.

3) The Wyatt Family def. The Usos and Sheamus- The crowd was split in terms of cheering for the two teams. Bray Wyatt got the win for his team after hitting “Sister Abigail” on Jey Uso. After the match, Wyatt, Sheamus, Erick Rowan, and Jimmy Uso fight on the outside of the ring. Meanwhile, Luke Harper attacked Jey Uso in the ring. Afterwards, The Wyatt Family stood tall over Jey Uso.

4) Dolph Ziggler def. Damien Sandow- Sandow was once again dressed up as Magneto.

5) Alexander Rusev def. R-Truth via disqualification- Lilian Garcia came out, informing the fans that Rusev wanted a rematch. It once again ended with Woods interfering, but the finish was different, possibly meaning this was a re-tape.

6) Big E def. Titus O’Neil via disqualification- Titus was disqualified after refusing to stop a hold after a five-count. After the match, the two engaged in a massive brawl, in which Titus looked to be in bad shape afterwards.

7) Dean Ambrose def. Ryback, Curtis Axel, and Alberto Del Rio in a Fatal four-way match to retain his United States Championship- Ryback seemed to have the match won, until Axel pulled him out of the ring. Afterwards, Ambrose pinned Axel.
