On Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, WWE taped the Jan. 29 edition of “WWE Main Event” in addition to the Jan. 31 edition of “WWE Smackdown” in Toledo, Ohio.

Below are the spoilers for the Jan. 31 edition of “WWE Smackdown:”

The show begins with a recap of “Monday Night Raw.” The Shield enters to kick-off the show. Dean Ambrose tells the crowd that the Elimination Chamber is made for The Shield. He says that the fans, The Authority, and Randy Orton all know if The Shield would have made it to the chamber match, one of them would have walked out WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Ambrose then shifts his attention toward The Wyatt Family, saying they cost them that opportunity.  Continuing, Ambrose says he doesn’t know why or care why they did it, but they must be dealt with. Ambrose praises Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, claiming they would wipe the floor with The Wyatt Family. Vickie Guerrero came out, then Triple H.

Triple H tells Ambrose he understands where The Shield is coming from. Ambrose reiterates that The Wyatt Family cost them. He tells The Shield to let it go, saying that there is no benefit from it and it will only lead to more problems. Reigns then tells Triple H that he does not need his approval. Triple H responds, saying there is no talking them out of it and asks the crowd if they want to see The Wyatt Family go at it with The Shield. He then announces The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The Shield vs. Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and Rey Mysterio is announced as the main event.

1) Antonio Cesaro def. Dolph Ziggler in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match- It should be noted that Cesaro is now billed from the United States. Only Zeb Colter is with him. The match went back and forth, with Cesaro hitting a “Cesaro Swing” and “Neutralizer.”

Continuing, he calls Young dead weight. He then attacks Young and beats him down, knocking him out.

4) Christian def. Jack Swagger in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match- Zeb Colter is on commentary for the match. This match was yet another good, back and forth match. In the end, Christian won with a frogsplash. After the match, Zeb Colter is furious with Swagger and throws a fit.

5) Kofi Kingston def. Damien Sandow- Kingston got the win with his “SOS.”

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Christian. Christian says that he earned his spot in the Elimination Chamber match. Continuing, he says he desperate to become champion again, happy that he is close to becoming champion.
