A new report from Rob Feinstein of RFVideo.com has provided a big update on Sting signing a WWE Legends contract, which was reported previously on Jan. 28. Feinstein claims that the news of Sting officially signing a WWE Legends contract comes from a reputable source, and that Sting is expected to debut sometime around WrestleMania XXX.

Feinstein goes on to say he believes that Sting will debut the night after WrestleMania XXX, April 7, on “Monday Night Raw.” As reports also stated earlier today, Sting’s negotiations with WWE have been happening for a while, and he would not sign anything until the two parties agreed on how many dates “the Icon” would work, what roles he would play in the current system, and what he would be willing to do creatively for the company.

Feinstein also states that he does not believe that Sting will be facing the Undertaker anytime soon, claiming that he has it on good authority that The Undertaker will indeed face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. In a post on his official Facebook page, Feinstein replies to the fans that have been reading his report on the matter all day saying,

“I got a million emails over the day and wanted to wait before I said anything more on the Sting situation. I see that my FB post has been all over websites today and I will stand by my story as the person who told me has never lied to me and is a good source.

As I stated earlier today I do not think Sting will face Undertaker at Mania. I am certain that Taker is going to face Brock at mania and I know a little bit more but I don’t want everyone yelling at me for spoilers. Trust me Mania is going to be really good this year if it’s true what I have been told. Everything changes in this business so there is nothing that you should go out and bet your house on.

I still think that Sting will not be at Mania and will be on Raw the following night and be tied into the Network. I guess we will all have to wait and see but I also think WWE will def tease Sting up until that weekend but again I think he will debut on Raw and only wrestle a certain huber of dates and maybe one MAJOR match at Mania in CA in 2015 and be part of the HOF.”

Again, if these reports are true, wrestling fans may finally see the Stinger fly the colors of the WWE for the first time in his illustrious 24-year career.
