Update On When Paige Will Return To WWE

Former WWE Divas Champion Paige has been out of action since before the brand split took place, but it looks like she’ll be ready to return to the ring before this summer.

On Thursday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave an update on Paige’s recovery, and when she’ll return to action.

“Paige is looking at April, May, or June to return. And The Rock is helping produce a Paige movie.”

Meltzer also noted that Paige is interested in starting a career in mixed martial arts. For more on that, click here.

The former Divas and NXT Women’s Champion has been out of action due to a neck injury, which required surgery. She’s also, according to multiple sources, fallen out of favor with top executives in the company. So it’ll be interesting to see how she’s booked upon her return.

Back in July, Paige was drafted to Raw, and Alberto Del Rio, who she’s currently engaged to, was drafted to SmackDown, which caused a rift between the couple and WWE. Of course, Del Rio ended up leaving the company, and Paige is one wellness strike away from being fired, as she’s failed two tests in recent months.
