4. Channing Tatum as John Cena

A lot of people would look at Mark Wahlberg for the role of John Cena for obvious reasons. The history of music and similar physique would make Marky Mark a natural fit. Channing Tatum may even be a better option for the role of John Cena.

Tatum also has experience in music and has a very similar physique. Like Sean Bean, he’d no doubt have to bulk up quite a bit. That’s not the issue. Tatum has that babyface and innocence likability that would make him far more believable to play John Cena than Wahlberg.
