Why Chris Jericho Missed Raw Last Night Revealed

Unfortunately, last night we didn’t have “The Gift of Jericho” to drink in on Monday Night Raw. It was announced that Chris Jericho will be hosting a “Highlight Reel” segment with Randy Orton at “Battleground” though.

There has been some speculation about the reason why Jericho missed last night’s Raw, which was revealed early this morning.

According to a report from Wrestlinginc.com, Chris Jericho is currently on vacation with his family in Hawaii for some much need and deserved rest and relaxation.

The expectation is Y2J will absolutely be back for next week’s edition of Monday Night Raw and for the first live SmackDown and WWE Draft.

Honestly, Jericho hasn’t been doing anything substantial on WWE programming since “Money in the Bank,” so now was the perfect time to get some time with his family before he’s back on the road.

The rumors are strongly claiming that Jericho will be with WWE through “Summerslam,” but there is also a lot of speculation that we’ll be see Jericho in WWE for the rest of the year.

After the brand split, there are a lot of opportunities for Chris Jericho to have some new matches and feuds, but he’s going to focus on Orton and “Battleground first.”
