Tonight on Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon will return to talk about the upcoming WWE Draft and brand split, and there will be a Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship.

However, it looks like WWE will be missing a top superstar to build towards “Battleground” next weekend. It shouldn’t be a problem since “The Realest Guys in the Room” should be able to hold down the fort.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, John Cena is not expected to appear during tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Cena indicated on Twitter that he was still in California as of this afternoon, and he’ll be busy with rehearsals for the ESPY Awards he is hosting this Wednesday.

Despite Cena’s absence, The Club will probably be bummed they can’t take part in their favorite hobby of “beating up John Cena,” so they’ll have to settle for beating up John Cena’s friends.

At “Battleground,” Enzo Amore and Big Cass will join Cena against The Club. Cena’s place in the feud is more than secure. Tonight will be building up Enzo and Cass’ place in the feud with The Club, which will be good.
