There is a lot of speculation that The New Day will end after the WWE Draft and “Battleground.” The rumors have called for heel turns from either Xaiver Woods or Big E. However, no one is mentioning Kofi Kingston.

According to a recent rumor from RingSideNews.com, Kofi will remain in a tag team with Woods while Big E gets a big push into the main event picture.

In my opinion, Kofi Kingston not only deserves a main event push, but he’s owed one. Big E has the look WWE like and Xavier Woods has the voice. There is no denying that, but Kingston has the accolades and experience.

Kofi has been with WWE for a decade. He’s a four-time Intercontinental Champion, a three-time United States Champion, and a five-time Tag Team Champion. There isn’t anything left for him to do in the midcard.

Did you know that in ten days, The New Day will break the record set by Paul London and Brian Kendrick for the longest tag team title reign in WWE history?

The New Day are one of the greatest stables of the last decade. If it weren’t for The Shield, they’d be the best of the decade, but WWE’s logic is only going to get them one big star out the trio when it should be all three.

I hope success finds all three men, but if you’re asking me to choose. Kofi Kingston is the most deserving to recieve a major push after “the last day” of The New Day.

Do you think Kofi Kingston deserves a push into the main event?
