At the end of last year, WWE made the decision to reunite The Shield for another run. It was a great idea until Roman Reigns went down with a serious illness for weeks. It was not long after his return that Dean Ambrose went down with an elbow injury. Now, that all three men are healthy, WWE officials brought The Hounds of Justice back together.
Since his return, Ambrose has been heavily teasing a heel turn and the expectation was it would come to fruition at Survivor Series. A recent report from TheSportsDaily claims that is not true at all or WWE officials have changed their minds about disbanding The Shield because the trio is being advertised for appearances until after WrestleMania 35.

WWE cards are always subject to change so this isn’t a confirmation since the powers that be can turn Ambrose whenever they want. The problem is that WWE officials are now booked into a corner because the WWE Universe is expecting his heel turn sooner rather than later. Another six months is a long time to tease The Lunatic Fringe’s turn.
It seems that WWE officials have some huge plans for The Shield heading into New York for WrestleMania. Their logic is probably that the WWE Universe will forget about Dean Ambrose’s team and it will become a shocking twist again by next April. With Ambrose playing second fiddle to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, six more months is an eternity.
WWE waiting so long to turn The Lunatic Fringe also takes away the rumored matchup of Ambrose vs. Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship on the grandest stage of them all. WWE should have a detailed plan in place because they are playing with fire.
Do you believe Dean Ambrose should wait until WrestleMania 35 to turn heel?
