Brock Lesnar hasn’t wrestled since the Greatest Royal Rumble event back in late April. A lot of people aren’t happy about his very limited schedule. It was reported a while back that Lesnar wouldn’t defend the WWE Universal Championship until Summerslam, but now there’s some speculation that Brock could miss the biggest party of the summer.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Beast is not actually scheduled for the Summerslam PPV yet. We’re still over two months away, so nothing is confirmed. However, there’s a lot more speculation going around about what WWE has planned for the event if the company doesn’t have solid plans for Brock Lesnar by now.

The expectation is Roman Reigns will challenge him for the Universal Championship at Summerslam and walk out of Brooklyn with the title. Regardless of what happens then, it’s clear WWE officials have no intention of taking the title off Lesnar beforehand. That decision is going to make the next couple of months extremely interesting for The Beast.
Rumors about Lesnar returning to UFC have been circling him for several months. He still hasn’t entered the USADA pool, so he’s not preparing to fight. However, it has been said that Brock Lesnar could show up at UFC 226 to challenge the winner of the Miocic vs. Cormier match. He could also be carrying the Universal Title with him at the event.
Apparently, Brock has until the end of the month to enter the USADA pool. It would still take six months for him to be cleared to compete. Since the expectation is that Lesnar’s WWE contract will expire after Summerslam, he could take the rest of 2018 off to train for his UFC comeback. Unfortunately, there are a lot of questions and no answers about Brock Lesnar’s future in WWE and UFC.
