As the Canadians turn. We’re coming up on Money in the Bank and that can be a game changer for a lot of wrestlers. It could mean something very important for whoever wins the briefcase, but there are other ways to change them up as well. Like, say, a heel turn for example. Every now and then you need to change things up for a wrestler, either as a way to freshen then up or to advance a major story. As it turns out, we might be in for one of those very soon and it could change things quite a bit.

According to Wrestling Observer Live by way of ringsidenews.com, Natalya may be setting up for a heel turn on Ronda Rousey in a rather interesting way. The show noted that Natalya injured her right knee in a match on Monday Night Raw one week but was selling the left knee the next week. The idea could be Natalya playing mind games to throw Rousey off guard before Rousey becomes the new Raw Women’s Champion. It should be noted that the knee issue could merely be Natalya and/or the WWE just making a mistake and there is no connection to the potential turn.

Here’s how the knee injury went down in the first place.

Nia Jax vs. Natalya: Raw, June 4, 2018

Opinion: Well it wouldn’t be the first time. Back in 2002, the NWO broke a cinder block over Steve Austin’s left knee but the next week he came out with his right knee wrapped up. There was no explanation given so my best guess was that they just made a mistake. I could easily see Natalya turning on Rousey as the story certainly seems to be building to that twist, but I would be a bit surprised if the knee thing was the way they were going. That’s just a bit of a stretch.

Do you think Natalya will turn heel soon? Will she win the Money in the Bank ladder match? Let us know in the comments below.
