Jason Jordan hasn’t been featured on WWE television since Kurt Angle “sent him home” back in February. In reality, he missed four months of actions and WrestleMania 34 as a result of a neck injury. However, Jordan is medically cleared to wrestle. WWE officials just have been struggling with creative plans to bring him back to WWE programming.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a proper way to bring him back before Money in the Bank without him coming off like an afterthought. It’s understandable why his return to Raw has been postponed this long, but it seems WWE officials have figured out his creative plans and the expectation is Jason Jordan should be returning to television next week.

According to a report from CageSideSeats, the plan is for Jordan to return to Raw and to begin a feud with Baron Corbin. Baron was given the role as Raw’s Constable” last week and underwent a major change in appearance and is expected to be Angle’s rival going into Summerslam. On paper, that sets up Corbin vs. Jordan for Extreme Rules in July.

If The Lone Wolf continues to abuse his power to bully Jordan, that’s going to gain a lot of sympathy for Jason and Kurt as well as heel heat for Corbin. Obviously, Jordan would need to put over Corbin at Extreme Rules to set up Angle vs. Corbin for Summerslam. It a good role for Jordan to play for the summer, but he’s kinda being left out in the cold.

John Cena vs. Jason Jordan: Raw, Sept. 4, 2017

Jordan continuously being beaten down by Baron Corbin could make him look weak to the WWE Universe. If the long-term plan is Kurt Angle vs. Jason Jordan, he would have to rebuild his credibility in the eyes of the WWE Universe unless his booking is perfect.

Do you believe Jason Jordan has real potential to be a major star?
