Rumor: WWE Planning Feud Between Randy Orton & AJ Styles After Summerslam

A few months ago, Karl Anderson did an interview with Amarillo.com and revealed that Randy Orton is actually his dream opponent in WWE. During the interview, he said the following about facing Orton:

“I think Randy Orton right now would be pretty cool for me. He’s somebody I look up to. We’re about the same age but he’s been on TV for a long time so it’d be pretty cool to get in there with him.”

According to a recent report from Sportskeeda.com, Randy Orton has Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles have John Cena, we all know that, but the plan afterward could be to combine those two things.

It hasn’t been confirmed yet because WWE is still headed to “Summerslam,” but the live events that follow have Orton vs. Styles scheduled on them, which is essentially telling the WWE fans to expect a feud between them.

The expectation is that both men will be losing at “Summerslam,” so both men will be needing a win after this summer. It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens in a feud between The Club and Randy Orton.
