Booker T Returning to the Ring in August

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T hasn’t wrestled very much since the last time he did in WWE back in 2012. There has been speculation about him getting back into the ring for a feud or a short program on WWE television.

It’s been rumored that WWE is looking for some veterans to help out with the brand split and help put some young talent over, Booker T could be a perfect man to help out a little during the transition period.

However, outside of WWE, Booker T has a lot more opportunity since he is currently running his own promotion in Houston, Texas. It’s been doing very well, but the former five-time WCW Champion could be getting the itch.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Booker T will be teaming with Tommy Dreamer at the Reality of Wrestling/House of Hardcore show on August 5th in Pasadena, Texas.

At the moment, their opponents haven’t been announced. Dreamer was scheduled to team with Mickie James against TNA stars Pepper Parks and Cherry Bomb, but that idea has been scrapped.

It’s unclear if Booker T could get back into the ring on a more regular basis outside of WWE, but a one last run for the WWE Hall of Famer would most likely be welcomed by the WWE Universe with open arms.
