Tonight’s SmackDown tapings had a little bit of an issue when Ric Flair went off script and off the rails during a promo with Natalya.
Since the show is taped on Tuesdays every week, the “slip of the tongue” by Flair will undoubtedly be edited off of SmackDown by the time it airs on Thursday, but the events of what transpired have gotten out.
This week’s SmackDown will feature an edition of “The Ambrose Asylum” and it will feature host Dean Ambrose and special guests Natalya, the WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte, and Ric Flair.
During the segment, Natalya hyped up Bret “Hitman” Hart’s appearance at “Payback” and claimed that her uncle could “handle” Flair if he got involved in the match at that event.
Flair got very fired up because of that and told her that he’s beaten Bret Hart all over the world and in multiple promotions. At the end of the rant, The Nature Boy may have gone too far and told Natalya to “kill herself,” which is obviously not PG.
The following post was made by “The Wrestle War Room Podcast” explaining what happened tonight:
Do you think Ric Flair went too far during tonight’s SmackDown promo?
