On tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will make their in-ring debuts against The Usos.

Their angle is extremely interesting because “Payback” is this Sunday and we know that they’ll be involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title match somehow. The only question is what their influence will be in the match.

Now, we spent the majority of the weekend speculating about Finn Balor’s involvement, but there is another potential twist in the story that could lead to a big character change for AJ Styles.

According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, there has been some talk about turning Styles heel and getting him more involved with Anderson and Gallows since it may be a better idea to keep Balor in NXT and Styles has ties to The Bullet Club more recently.

The only thing that could stop that is Styles’ immediate success in WWE and his merchandise sales. He’s been moving a lot of merchandise much faster than WWE officials expected he would and he’s gotten over as a face very quickly based on his in-ring work and feud with Chris Jericho.

It’s very likely that WWE could keep him as a face for now, but the angle is forcing a big booking moment and if Balor is to stay in NXT, Styles turning heel seems like the most logical option for a big moment at “Payback.”

Do you want to see Styles turn heel and join Anderson and Gallows?
