Report: WWE Officials Respond to Rumors About Kurt Angle Returning to WWE

You’ve heard the rumors, and you know that Kurt Angle has discussed returning to WWE for a small stretch of time now.

It wasn’t until Angle spoke with Mark Madden on his radio show the other day and revealed that there had been a discussion between himself, Triple H, and Vince McMahon about a potential return to WWE.

Obviously, the rumor mill took off, and there has been so much speculation about Kurt Angle returning to WWE for one final match and potentially managing American Alpha in the future.

Unfortunately, we need to be the bearers of bad news. According to a report from RingSideNews.com, WWE officials made it clear to Dave Meltzer that Kurt Angle will NOT be returning to WWE at this time.

There is little information on why a deal fell through, or if there was really a deal in the first place. Angle claimed there were discussions, but that’s as far as the conversation may have gone.

This doesn’t mean the door is shut on Kurt Angle forever, but it looks like he won’t be returning at this time unless this is a misdirection to evade the WWE Universe.
