Report: Vince McMahon Planning “Redemption” Storyline For Roman Reigns Once He Returns

It is no secret that Roman Reigns has a rough dynamic with the WWE Universe. His suspension isn’t going to help the “mixed reaction” he gets from the fans.

He’s going to have a very steep hill to climb when he returns at “Battleground.” However, Vince McMahon and WWE have a specific plan in place for his return.

According to an article from the Inquisitir.com, Vince McMahon is planning a huge “redemption” storyline for Roman once he returns to WWE programming.

The idea is to try to turn the suspension into a positive and fix the relationship Reigns has with the WWE Universe. The logic is it could be a long-term fix for Roman to admit his mistake and try to be better.

However, the WWE Universe has been cutting to Roman for the exact same reason, and his violation of WWE’s Wellness Policy has given them a valid reason to dislike him, which screams heel turn for Roman Reigns.

Honestly, Reigns returning with an “I can do whatever I want attitude” could be much more effective in getting heel heat and becoming an effective heel rather than force Roman through the ringer to try to fix his face run.
