Sami Zayn’s booking has been up and down since his debut on the main roster. He’s doing well overall, which is why it’s weird that he’s only gotten one meaningful win thus far, but it didn’t change anything.

Last night at “Clash of Champions,” Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn in a good match that will no doubt get lost in the shuffle of what is being considered an pretty good PPV.

Jericho got the win, which is fine considering he’s probably going to be facing Seth Rollins next, or will be getting involved in the WWE Universal title picture, but where does that leave Sami Zayn going forward?

The crowd is behind him. They’re chanting “Ole.” He has some momentum as a face despite losing most of his matches, and he’s having some great matches on Raw every week, so where is his push?

I’m not saying he should challenge for the WWE Universal title next, but the WWE Universe is clearly showing the powers that be they like him, so giving him a little bit more attention could do a lot. A big win or even a strong feud with a top heel would do a lot for him to get the people behind him even more.
