AJ Styles Preparing For Feud With Randy Orton

At “No Mercy” in a few weeks, AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose. Through the grapevine, it’s becoming obvious that Styles will walk out still the WWE Champion.

Meanwhile, Randy Orton is deadlocked in a feud with Bray Wyatt, which is expected to finally come to a head at “No Mercy.” There have been some rumblings about Orton getting a WWE title shot after that.

It was rumored recently that Vince McMahon is very high on Randy Orton right now after the way he handled the entire situation with Brock Lesnar. A WWE title shot seems to be in his immediate future.

Even more recently, The Phenomenal AJ Styles appeared on Gamer Revolution for a great interview and he revealed that a feud with Randy Orton is only a matter of time, so Orton vs. Styles seems to be happening.

“I honestly believe I’ve wrestled… y’know, there are still some guys in the WWE that I haven’t had the opportunity to get in the ring with. That’s gonna come, I’m sure of it. I haven’t been in the ring with Randy Orton.

“We’re both on Smackdown! Live, so eventually that’s gonna happen. I think that’s gonna be huge, that’s gonna be fun.”
