Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo Should Be Calling the Matches For Raw's Cruiserweight Division

I could talk all day about the awesomeness that was the “Cruiserweight Classic,” but a lot of the product’s success falls to that was done by Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo on commentary.

Their chemistry in calling the matches was so unique and made the matches more exciting because you could feel the passion of the two men calling great matches. Plus, they were far more knowledgeable than Raw or SmackDown’s commentary has been over the past several years.

No offense to Raw’s commentary team. Michael Cole has been doing the job forever. Bryon Saxton is doing well and learning very quickly. Corey Graves is fantastic at the job, but much of his job on Raw is to be the voice “against the grain” and create friction between the trio at the table.

The three men work well together, but if WWE wants to make the Cruiserweight division feel different, then Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo should be calling the matches on Raw and especially on PPV.

It could be a bit odd booking them to do the matches on Raw because they’re both technically SmackDown guys, but PPV matches and when the Cruiserweight Championship is defended should be a no brainer.
