Randy Orton has been a ghost over the past nine months. We’ve heard stories about him, and he’s been keeping busy in his personal life, but all was quiet on the Orton front until last week.
It was revealed that The Viper would be facing Brock Lesnar at “Summerslam” in a big money match, but we weren’t aware of when Orton would return to begin the hype for the match with The Beast Incarnate.
Well, that was until a few minutes ago. It was just revealed on Monday Night Raw that Randy Orton will return to WWE at “Battleground” next weekend.
During the show, he’ll be doing a live interview with Chris Jericho on the next episode of “The Highlight Reel,” which will also keep Y2J busy through the WWE Draft and brand split.
There is no update on when Randy Orton will be eligible to return to the ring in WWE, but he’s rumored to be training at the WWE Performance Center as of this writing.
