A trusted source close to former WWE Tough Enough Contestant Patrick Clark has informed the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show that Clark has signed a WWE developmental contract and has already reported to the Performance Center.

Clark had previously been rumored to be signing with WWE as early as over a week ago. There were rumors over the summer that Clark had turned down a contract because he didn’t want to relocate to the Performance Center in Orlando full time. If there is any truth to that, it seems that both sides are working out a deal.

Adding some fuel to the speculation that Clark has a development deal is Clark was missing from MCW’s shows this past weekend where he was advertised to appear. Last night in Delaware, his tag team partner Lio Rush dropped the Maryland Tag Team Championship in a handicap match.

WWE’s latest season of Tough Enough received mixed reviews, but there have been at least four development contracts given to some of the contestants. Josh Bredl and Sara Lee received contracts after winning the content. Meanwhile, Amanda Saccomanno has also signed a development deal and been announced as the new cast member of Total Divas next season. If Patrick Clark has signed, he’ll have familiar company at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
