Former WWE Diva Wrestles First Match Since 2002

Former WWE Diva’s Champion Melina wrestled her first match in three years, according to a report by Wrestle Zone. During a Stardom event in Covina, CA, Melina tagged with Santana Garrett to take on Thunder Rosa and Hudson Envy in a tag team match, the site said.

Melina made her competed in her last match in WWE in 2012 against Jillian Hall. Since then, the site points out that she refers to herself as a “former wrestler.” Garrett posted pictures on her Twitter feed, posing with Melina, during the event.

Correction: Due to an editing error, a previous version of this article stated that Melina’s last match took place in 2002. The correct year is 2012, which would make this her first match in three years, not 13.
