What’s next for Bray Wyatt?

He’s such an interesting character because the number one character trait he possesses over all others is unpredictability. For anyone else in WWE, not having a program or a feud would be the worst thing. For Bray Wyatt, it makes him unpredictable because no one knows what he is going to do next. That’s so unique.

In 2015, Bray Wyatt has gone head to head with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and “Survivor Series”. He’s had one of the best feuds of the year against Roman Reigns, and he’s rebuilt the Wyatt Family to be bigger and better than ever. I’d argue that Bray Wyatt is the top heel in WWE without question.

Wyatt has been a force to be reckoned with in WWE for over three years now, and he’s never had to challenge for any WWE title. He’s been surrounded by titles, but he’s never made a point to chase them. It’s hasn’t been an element of his character to prove his worth through championship gold.

His momentum and character come from being an overwhelming presence as a heel and having a twisted logic of how WWE works. Wyatt is a great character when he was a message to spread and a wrestler to target for destruction.

Sting Reportedly Not Expected to Compete at WWE "SummerSlam" After All

I don’t understand why so many wrestlings fans have such a desire to see Sting vs. The Undertaker. To me, the aura of those two men finally colliding would be epic to see. I get why people want to see that match happen. What confuses me is who benefits from that match?

Neither man has anything to gain and has something to lose. That’s a match that Sting should win, but WWE would never let the WCW symbol beat the WWF symbol. It’s unfortunate, but Sting vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania 31 proved that.

To me, I don’t think the match is worth having because it can’t live up to the hype, especially at the age of these two men and Sting’s recent health issues. I think both men are of much more use by putting over younger talent than putting on one epic match that won’t build for the future.

More Details Surrounding Undertaker Appearing at "Battleground" and "SummerSlam"

I’ve actually got a huge problem with the way WWE has booked The Undertaker over the last few years. He’s the most respected wrestler in the history of WWE. His aura is second to none when it comes to creating epic atmospheres and big match situations at will. However, that doesn’t make him immune to losing when it matters.

The Undertaker hasn’t lost a clean match to anyone except Brock Lesnar since 2010. The last man to defeat The Deadman in singles competition was Kane at WWE’s Bragging Rights PPV in October of 2010.

That fact is mind blowing to me. I know Taker has the reputation of dominating respect, and he creates amazing moments every time he arrives, but he also hasn’t really put over anyone in over five years.

Brock Lesnar is the only one who’s been able to get clean wins over him, but Triple H, CM Punk, Dean Ambrose, and Bray Wyatt have had to put him over.

In Wyatt’s case, The Undertaker has snubbed him twice now in big match situations that have cooled his momentum. People blame John Cena for stopping Wyatt’s momentum when The Undertaker did the same thing a year later. Since Taker has failed to put over the future of the business, there is another that would succeed.

Sting vs. Wyatt would create such an incredible atmosphere because if there is anyone that can match Taker in the aura of character in WWE, it’s Sting. He’s an equal to Taker, which makes him a prime target for Bray.

The Icon has made it very clear that he will lose and put over other guys. His unnecessary lost to Triple H withstanding, putting over Seth Rollins at Night of Champions was a great thing. That’s what I’m talking about when it comes to putting over the future. In WWE, Sting has been selfless, and it’s gone mostly unnoticed.

The one thing that Bray Wyatt has been missing in his career is a big match victory. He’s been good enough to walk into Wrestlemania versus John Cena and The Undertaker. Both matches he lost, and it’s the only thing that has kept him from being the most dominant man in WWE. He needs a big win at Wrestlemania over a legend.

Sting vs. Wyatt is the perfect scenario for all those elements to come together. Sting vs. Wyatt would create an epic atmosphere and have great character depth.

Meanwhile, Sting wouldn’t have a problem losing, and Wyatt would get a massive victory for his career. Especially, if Sting calls it a career afterward. That prize would be stronger than any championship WWE has and Bray Wyatt would be a made man without ever touching any WWE title.

I know Sting vs. The Undertaker is cool. It’s been building up for decades. But in my mind, Sting vs. Wyatt is just so much better an option for WWE if Sting and Taker are in their final days.

Personally, I’d rather see Finn Balor vs. The Undertaker
