Last week, Cesaro suffered a torn tendon in his shoulder that will keep him out of a WWE ring for the next four to six months. Unfortunately, Cesaro must wait for that long to make his return and see how he can capitalize on his momentum.

There have been few more vocal fans of the Swiss Superman than Stone Cold Steve Austin. The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke about Cesaro’s injury on the most recent edition of The Steve Austin Show.

During the podcast, Austin had guest Wade Keller of PWTorch on the podcast to discuss the latest week of news in wrestling that included a reaction to WWE’s “Survivor Series” event.

Naturally, Cesaro’s injury came up as a topic and Austin and Keller discussed the injury and his future when he returns in 2016.

The full interview can be heard right here. Below is the highlight of Austin discussing Cesaro:

Ultimately, Austin spoke his mind about Cesaro’s position in WWE before his injury. Stone Cold offered much praise for Cesaro’s in-ring work but admitted that he’s a wrestler that has been “lost in the shuffle” and hasn’t been given the fair push by WWE. Austin offered Cesaro some advice about how to spend his time off.

Stone Cold advised Cesaro to take the injury time to reinvent himself and his character for his return. “Time for this guy to come back both guns blazing. F**k all of the politics. I’m going to the top.”

Wise words from the Texas Rattlesnake.
