It’s been just over a year since CM Punk gave wrestling fans his story about how his wrestling career ended. A great deal of his stories involved the inconsistency of WWE Doctor Dr. Chris Amann.

In 2013, WWE put the spotlight on Dr. Chris Amann with an exclusive interview right here. Shortly after the Punk appeared on Colt Cabana’s podcast to discuss the end of his WWE career, Dr. Amann officially sued the pair over their comments about Amann’s involvement in Punk’s health issue in 2013 and early 2014.

In an update of the lawsuit between Dr. Amann, Cabana, and Punk, The Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court has released new documents detailing the future of the lawsuit between all involved.

The reports have shown that the presiding Judge of the case, Janet Brosnahan has allowed the case to continue on February 1, 2016. Judge Brosnahan has also allowed and denied requests presented by Dr. Amann. Unfortunately, the details of those requests aren’t known as of this writing.
The lawsuit against Punk is moving slowly, but it is moving. It’s not likely it’ll end this February either, but there will probably be a settlement of some sort between Dr. Amann, Punk, and Cabana.
