Yesterday, NXT star Solomon Crowe was stagnant on NXT ever since his debut on the brand. Crowe has been mysteriously removed from the NXT roster page on WWE.com. There was much speculation yesterday as to whether or not Crowe has been released by WWE.

According to PWInsider.com, Solomon Crowe has asked for his release for undisclosed reasons and WWE has granted him his release from the company. As of this writing, Crowe is finished with WWE.

Crowe posted the following after the news had broken of his profile being removed from WWE.com:

There is only speculation on the reasoning for Crowe to request his release from WWE. As of now, there aren’t any reports or news of him being injured, or being unhappy in NXT. That leaves his release being for personal reasons that have not yet been disclosed and may not be in the future.

Sami Callihan has wrestled under many names and many promotions. He’s wrestled for the Heartland Wrestling Association, Insanity Pro Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling, NXT, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and other promotions over his career.

If Callihan’s release from WWE is the beginning of his retirement from the sport, it’s likely there will be an announcement made by him soon. However, until there is more information, the Earth stands still on Solomon Crowe.
