Rusev Returns on Monday Night Raw

Last we heard of Rusev; he was suffering from a potential shoulder injury that seems to be going around WWE right now. It was reported that Rusev had suffered a torn bicep in a match on Main Event against Neville.

The injury was thought to be much more severe, but Rusev has returned to WWE in Nashville tonight.

The opening segment began with The Authority running down Roman Reigns for turning down their offer a few weeks ago and for Reigns actions last night when he chose to Spear Triple H rather than shake his hand in congratulations. Triple H introduced the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus to the ring.

Sheamus made a speech about becoming the WWE Champion and asked if he looks stupid now? With that, Roman Reigns came down and invoked his rematch clause.

Although, he will get his rematch with Sheamus in three weeks at the “TLC” PPV in Boston. Before Reigns could get out of the ring, Rusev made a surprise return and attacked Roman which led to him being laid out by yet another Brogue Kick from Sheamus.

The Authority stood tall to end the segment and announced Reigns vs. Rusev for tonight’s Raw.
