The “Cruiserweight Classic” has been great fun, but it’s starting to wind down into the final four. With Raw’s Cruiserweight Division debuted on September 19th, there is a lot more information coming out.
This Wendesday, Zack Sabre Jr. will face Noam Dar and Rich Swann will face TJ Perkins to determine the final two men to enter the final four.
Next week, the semifinals will take place, and the finals of the CWC will most likely be held during the debut of the Cruiserweight Division to kill two birds with one stone.
As of this writing, the entire division is set to included the following ten participants: Tommaso Ciampa, Cedric Alexander, Brian Kendrick, Noam Dar, TJ Perkins, Rich Swann, Johnny Gargano, Gran Metalik, Akira Tozawa, and Jack Gallagher.
That is expected to be the full roster for now aside from new additions coming down the road and the occasional appearances of other talents.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, WWE is considering giving SmackDown Live a Cruiserweight Division of its own to compete with Raw after the success of the CWC, but nothing is confirmed right now.
