Daniel Bryan has been enjoying his comeback in WWE for the past few months. His work with Mauro Ranallo has been excellent on the “Cruiserweight Classic.”

He’s also done a good job as the General Manager of SmackDown, but there have been a lot of reports recently about Bryan potentially getting physical in the ring again.

The reason for the speculation is the “Talking Smack” promo from The Miz that set off those rumors when its original intention was just to get some heel heat on the current Intercontinental Champion.

It’s a testament to the connection Daniel Bryan has with the WWE fans and The Miz’s ability on the mic that the promo caused such a stir, but it’s unlikely that Bryan will be getting physical in the ring anytime soon.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Daniel Bryan isn’t allowed to do anything physical in the ring as SmackDown’s GM. Obviously, a match is out of the question if that is true.

One more match will always be what Bryan and the WWE fans want, but the GM role is made for him so he never has to get physical in the ring. A surprise Yes Lock may be possible at the right time.

Do you think Daniel Bryan should do one more match someday?
