Rusev & Lana Expected to Miss Several Weeks of WWE Television

The current United States Champion Rusev and The Ravishing Russian Lana recently had their second wedding ceremony in Bulgaria last week.

After their first wedding ceremony, the couple didn’t miss any time on WWE television and the feud with Roman Reigns continued through “Summerslam.”

According to a new report and some social media activity by the couple, it seems that Rusev and Lana could be missing the next several weeks of Raw for an extended honeymoon.

Neither of them were on Raw last night, and many people were expecting the feud with Reigns to continue since there wasn’t an appropriate payoff to their rivalry.

Lana posted the following claiming that it is the first day of a twenty-three day honeymoon between them that could see them miss Raw through “Clash of Champions.”

Twenty-three days from yesterday would bring Rusev and Lana back after Raw’s exclusive PPV “Clash of Champions,” but it isn’t confirmed if Reigns vs. Rusev will continue after the couple returns.

There is something special about The Bulgarian Brute holding the US title, so it’s likely he’ll be holding onto the championship for the foreseeable future unless the feud with Roman continues.
