It would appear that “The Red Queen” still gets to show us her throne.

According to a report from PWInsider, Eva Marie, along with her husband Jonathan, The Miz and Maryse are currently in the Bahamas filming new material for the E! reality series “Total Divas.” This is in spite of the fact that Eva Marie is still under a 30-day suspension from WWE, due to her first violation of the company’s wellness policy.

The reason that she is still able to film is because although “Total Divas” features WWE superstars, all of their contracts are with the E! Network, and not WWE. Therefore, they do not fall under the same jurisdictions, and do not have the same regulations.

It had been previously reported that the reason for Eva Marie’s suspension was because she had taken a prescription drug that contained adderall, which is a banned substance under the company’s wellness policy. She plans to appeal the suspension, but no information about that is known at this time.

Editor’s Note:

This makes total sense. Given that WWE is pushing hard for this show to have great success, they should have no problems with one of the star characters providing new material for the show.
