Kevin Owens Takes Shot at AJ Lee on Twitter

Kevin Owens is known as a brass and assertive heel both in the ring and outside of it. Just the other day, Owens got involved in a tussle with Goldust the other day on Twitter because the veteran had made a dig at Owens about the value of the Intercontinental Championship.

Owens is also gifted with a great sense of dark humor. Recently, he was signing autographs for fans, and the following tweet came from one of those fans:

There has been no response from AJ Lee about the comment made by Owens as of this writing. AJ isn’t expected to make a comment to such a brush off comment over an issue like giving a fan an autograph.

AJ Lee has not been on WWE television since February. Her last official match was a tag team bout with Paige as her partner against The Bella Twins at Wrestlemania 31. Since then, she has retired from wrestling. She’s doing charity work and got married to “you know who”.

Owens is obviously joking about having to sign an AJ Lee picture because he ran out of his own. But, to say that she’ll “never” be back is a bit premature considering she’s 100% due for a WWE Hall of Fame introduction at the very least.

Nikki Bella is the longest reigning Divas Champion of all time after she beat AJ’s record. In 2012, AJ Lee was the most over performer in wrestling. Nikki Bella can’t say that, and neither can any female wrestler of the last decade.
