At WrestleMania 34, the long-awaited dream match between The Undertaker and John Cena finally came to fruition. It wasn’t the match the WWE Universe had been hoping to see, but it was a WrestleMania moment all the same. Since The Undertaker’s health has greatly improved, a lot of fans are wondering if a rematch is in the cards down the line.

Most people assumed the company would save it for WrestleMania 35 in New York, but it’s being reported by CageSideSeats that WWE officials could be planning their rematch for Summerslam in August. The only obstacle in the way would be John Cena’s schedule outside of the company and Hollywood. However, that could also work out perfectly.

It’s been reported that Cena’s schedule is open after he’s done filming “Bumblebee.” The expectation is he will be back on WWE television sooner rather than later. He may even return after Money in the Bank. The point is Cena vs. Undertaker II is a real possibility for the biggest party of the summer. However, there are still some questions to answer.

The Undertaker emerges from the darkness to accept John Cena's challenge: WrestleMania 34

For instance, The Undertaker completely squashed John Cena on the grandest stage of them all. Would Cena be looking for revenge against The Deadman? If so, does he defeat him in a similar manner? That could build them to the ultimate match in New York next year. However, the WWE Universe may not appreciate Cena squashing The Undertaker.

WWE officials weren’t overly concerned with the reactions or consequences of the first match between them two months ago. They were just trying to create a big moment. In Brooklyn, John Cena and The Undertaker could do it all over again if the powers that be pull the trigger on another big match for them during the biggest party of the summer.
