Hopefully for the last time. The last few months have been a heck of a ride for Jeff Hardy. He returned to active competition about two months ago after spending about six months on the injured list, coming back to win the United States Title, which he holds to this day. However, right before his return to the main roster, Hardy was pulled over for driving while impaired in North Carolina. Now, about three months later, his sentencing has been handed down.

On a lighter note, this is still hilarious.

Jeff Hardy comes face-to-face with "Woken" Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt: Raw, April 9, 2018

According to WBTV.com (Charlotte, North Carolina), Hardy plead guilty on Monday to driving while impaired. Hardy’s punishment will include a 120 day suspended sentence, a $300 fine for court costs, a treatment class and turning over his license. Hardy will also be required to complete forty eight hours of community service in 120 days. The night he was pulled over, Hardy registered a .25 blood alcohol content, or over three times the state’s legal limit.

Opinion: Well good for Hardy I guess, though I’m not sure why this isn’t worthy of jail time. I have little use for someone dumb enough to go out, drink this much, and then get behind the wheel of a car. It’s one of the dumbest, most dangerous things you can do and Hardy has a long enough history of accidents that have caused him severe injuries. If this is the regular punishment for something like this then so be it, but egads man, stop doing such dumb things.

What do you think of Hardy’s time as US Champion? Will he be World Champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
