Over the weekend, the trial between Gawker and Hulk Hogan came to a close with the latter receiving one-hundred and fifteen million dollars.
The “WWE Hall of Famer” was fired from the company after racial remarks were uncovered and those issues along with the media attention of the trial with Gawker, WWE distancing themselves from Hogan was a good idea, but it seems like now could be the time to rebuild that bridge.
According to Hollywood Life, Hogan is obviously thrilled with the jury’s decision in the trial, especially since there are rumors that he will get even more money out of them.
A source is claiming the following about Hogan’s attitude when it comes to potentially returning to WWE:
“Hulk Hogan is beyond pleased with the results and is looking to get his life back in order,” the source told Hollywood Life. “And he would love his job back with the WWE.”
Hulk Hogan will be the first to admit that in a wrestling career, you can make many little mistakes, but you can make only a few big mistakes.
It’s true, he’s made quite a few. However, he’s been humbled. He’s apologized and the WWE Universe has more or less forgiven him.
If Hogan appears at Wrestlemania 32, few are going to ostracize him. He made his mistakes, but he’s also paid for them and now could be the time to bring The Hulkster back to WWE.
