The former TNA World Champion Matt Hardy could potentially be out with an injury after the most recent run of TNA Impact tapings.

During those tapings, Hardy had an “I Quit Match” with his brother Jeff Hardy and in typical Hardy fashion, the ending saw a crazy spot that may have injured Matt.

According to Wrestlezone.com, the finish saw Jeff hit a huge Swanton Bomb from the top of the Impact set onto Matt through a table below.

After the match, Matt was tended to by the paramedics. Shortly after, he was put in a neck brace and then was stretchered out of the arena.

Jeff looked fine and was able to walk on his own to the back. On the other hand, Matt may have been injured, but it’s not known at this time if his injury is legitimate or if he was just selling the Swanton Bomb.

If Matt Hardy is injured, it could come at a worse time after the couple of weeks that TNA has had with their talent. Ken Anderson, Bobby Roode, and Eric Young have all left the company for one reason or another.

TNA’s roster is quite thin, and they’re going to need to find some fresh talent to push or sign to keep the product going.
