The mystery surrounding Bobby Roode and Eric Young joining NXT has lasted far longer than most people thought it would.

Roode has been rumored to be under contract with NXT for a few months now while Eric Young actually appeared on an edition of NXT and wrestled NXT Champion Samoa Joe in a losing contest.

However, there have been few updates on their contract situations with WWE. Young hasn’t appeared on NXT since losing to Joe and Roode hasn’t been heard from since NXT Takeover: Dallas when he was seen in attendance.

During the conference call for NXT Takeover: The End, Triple H revealed a lot of details about NXT. Other than the upcoming return of Hideo Itami being confirmed by The Game, he revealed that he is still negotiating with both Roode and Young for deals with NXT.

The Game made a point to say that both men were very talented and that he is looking forward to working with them in the future. The latter is essentially saying that it isn’t a question of it, but when they come to NXT.
