Brock Lesnar has set the entire sports entertainment world on fire with the news that he will face Mark Hunt in a shocking return to The Octagon at UFC 200.

What’s funny is UFC 200 could have been the debut of CM Punk in The Octagon. Now, everyone is talking about that event, but Punk’s mindset is on UFC 202.

According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, CM Punk will finally be having his first fight in UFC against Mickey Gall at UFC 202 in August, which is the same night that Diaz vs. McGregor II is set as of this writing.

A lot of journalists are walking on egg shells after the way UFC handled Ariel Helwani’s leaking of the Brock Lesnar announcement only a few hours before the powers that be in UFC wanted to release that information.

This will be the debut for CM Punk in The Octagon, which has undergone several delays as well as a lot of negative press because he was meant to fight at some point before the end of 2015, and a lot of fans think he’s never actually going to get into the cage after a ton of hype.

Do you think CM Punk will be able to compete in UFC?
