At the end of May, Adam Rose was released by WWE and all has been quiet the western front since then. He’s most likely been dealing with his arrest and family issues before making his big move on the independents.
That’s a good thing because Adam also had some options to distinguish how he wants his character to be on the independent scene.
According to a report from ProWrestlingSheet.com, he will continue to use his Adam Rose party gimmick; only it’s not going to be so PG on the independent scene as it was in WWE.
He also revealed on Twitter that he is changing his ring name to Aldo Rose and updated his Twitter bio to read, “Ain’t no more PG in this party!”
There are sources close to Rose that revealed he decided against using the Leo Kruger gimmick on the indies for undisclosed reasons.
That is definitely a shame for a lot of NXT fans who loved the gimmick, but Rose has decided to go with an edgier and more adult theme for the party gimmick that could be very entertaining with the right promotion.
